Tremor,muscular rigidity,bradykinesia 

 Etiology 

The disease is correlated with destruction of dopaminergic neurons in substantia nigra with reduction of dopamine action in corpus striatum 

And also because over production or overactivity of acetylcholine in brain 

 

 Strategy of treatment 

Therapy is aimed restoring dopamine in basal ganglia 

And antagonizing the excitatory effect of acetylcholine neurons 

_many drugs for the disease drugs aim to maintain cns dopamine level
