Pristinamycin
PYOSTACIN is usually prescribed for:
Acute maxillary sinusitis
Acute exacerbation of chronic bronchitis
Community-acquired pneumonia
Skin and soft tissue infection
Indications PYOSTACIN-
PYOSTACINE 500 mg film-coated tablet is indicated in adults and children for the treatment of the following infections (see sections Dosage and method of administration, Warnings and precautions for use and Pharmacodynamic properties):
Acute maxillary sinusitis (see section Warnings and precautions for use “ENT infections”),
Acute exacerbations of chronic bronchitis,
community-acquired pneumonia of mild to moderate severity (see section Warnings and precautions for use),
· Infections of the skin and soft tissues (see section Warnings and precautions for use).
Official recommendations for the appropriate use of antibacterials should be considered.
