Adductor brevis Adductor lonqus Adductor maqnus
Spasm of adductors of thigh (spasfic paraptegia) can be relieved by
surgical.flivision of obturator nerve.
- They arise primarily from the ischialtuberosity.
- They are supplied by the sciatic nerve.
- They flex the leg (knee) and extend the thigh (hip).
Lower medial part of Sciatic nerve.
S.G.S.T. tibia Sciatic nerve. Flexion of the leg
lnjury of lateral popliteal nerve should be avoided as it is closely
related to medial border of biceps tendon.
Hip bone between I Front of greater Superior gluteal
anterior&inferior ltrochanter. medius.
Gluteal tuberosity I lnferior gluteal
Oef UnAfOn lNtenNUS (see above)
These include: tibialis anterior, extensoi digitorum longus & extensor hallucis
They are all supplied by deep peroneal nerve.
