 Chronic kidney disease is also known as chronic kidney failure, is a medical condition in which the kidney loses its function gradually & slowly over several years until it leads to permanent kidney failure, this can cause dangerous levels of fluid, electrolytes and wastes to build up in your body.

• Main two common causes for chronic kidney disease are due to

diabetes and high blood pressure, along with other disorders such as polycystic kidney disease, or autoimmune diseases such as lupus, or glomerulonephritis which is a group of diseases that cause inflammation and damage to the kidney's filtering units.

• Symptoms of chronic kidney disease include: shortness of breath, blood in urine, fatigue, weakness, insomnia, nausea, muscle cramps, loss of appetite, Swelling of feet & ankles and weight loss.
